OCCUPY MARS (Reading / meeting)

Curiosity rover on a mission to Mars, is it driven by the desire for knowledge, or the sacrificed tool of colonial expansion? So as not to abandon extra-planetary spaces to economic powers alone, Pauline Julier and Clément Postec create Perseverance Valley: a cycle of research (film, book, installations, performances) to experiment with other points of view: that of scientists, rovers (astromobiles in French), matter or things themselves. Both an inventory of the conquest of space and a manifesto for alternative narratologies, the artists explore Mars, from the soil of the Atacama desert to the NASA piloting center in Los Angeles, exploring the delusional forms of our batteries and consciousnesses, lithium boosted.
